Acknowledgments

Mrs. Mary L. Paluch Rafferty and the J.S. Paluch Company gratefully acknowledge the original gracious invitation from His Eminence Raffaele Cardinal Farina, SDB, then Cardinal Archivist and Librarian of the Holy Roman Church, and Msgr. Cesare Pasini, Prefect of the Vatican Apostolic Library, that led to the creation of this special series of calendars, beginning with the 2012 calendar.

We appreciate the ongoing collaboration with Most Rev. Msgr. José Tolentino de Mendonça, the current Archivist and Librarian, and the generous assistance of Msgr. Cesare Pasini, Prefect of the Vatican Apostolic Library, and Dr. Claudia Montuschi, who supervised the research of images from ancient illuminated manuscripts. We heartily extend grazie mille to Msgr. Laurence J. Spiteri, JCD, PhD, a priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles currently serving as Official-in-charge of the Legal Affairs Office of the Vatican Apostolic Library, who handled all communication, information, and contracts, for his constant, enthusiastic, and affable support throughout this project.

A portion of the proceeds from J.S. Paluch Religious Art calendars supports vocation ministry in the U.S.
