With offices in Illinois, California, Florida, Louisiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Missouri, and Puerto Rico, we also provide parish calendars, the OneParish app, FINDaPARISH.com, and resources for the Church’s worship life. We are hiring a Parish Development Consultant who will work with the local community and Parishes throughout the diocese. Our Parish Development Consultants sell bulletin ad space for Catholic Church bulletins.  As an ambassador for J.S. Paluch and the parishes, you will network and cold call on small, medium and large businesses.
 
Parish Development Consultants are responsible for handling bulletin and non-bulletin parish accounts in their local dioceses.  Parish Development Consultants are also responsible for signing new Churches and renewing existing bulletin agreements, assisting in coordinating all aspects of bulletin ad sales and selling ads.
 
Our bilingual Parish Development Consultant will cover the Berwyn and Cicero area.  This is a remote position with local travel.  Familiarity with the Latino community is required.
 
EXPERIENCE WORKING OR VOLUNTEERING IN A CATHOLIC PARISH, ORGANIZATION OR DIOCESE IS A PLUS

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling advertising in the print industry OR other outside sales or fundraising experience
  • Cold Calling skills and experience via phone and in person
  • Networking skills
  • Closer --- ability to ask for the order
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and vehicle
  • Willing to be on the road, as needed, usually an hour or two per day
  • Basic computer skills, basic Microsoft Word skills
  • Have a Smart Phone, iphone or computer
